ENJOYING THR JOY ALLOCATED TO YOU BY GOD

John 16:33 states:  in the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (KJV). This means that Christians are predisposed to sorrow as long as we are in this world. But Christ has overcome this world, hence the closer we draw to Him; the more we shall be drawn from this world and its sorrows. Many Christians allow the devil to steal their joy by seeking joy from the world. This is certainly the wrong way to go in obtaining fulfilment.... HOW TO FORGIVE

When one is offended in any way by his or her friend or partner, there is the tendency for this offence to be used as an avenue to hurt the offending partner. Many people outrightly refuse to forgive their partners, whereas others try to "stretch" their partners a little by postponing the forgiveness for sometime. Some even go to the extent of scheduling a time to forgive their partners. This causes a lot of strain on many marriages and relationships..... CLICK ON TITLE TO READ ENTIRE ARTICLE

MAKING THE RIGHT DECISIONS

The life of man can be summed up as "a collection of decisions". Many Christians struggle with making the right decisions in life. Some feel that the right decision is simply "making up their mind to do what they want". Other Christians also make up their mind about things and presume that what they've decided is exactly what God wants them to do. This means that the right decision may not always seem right in the sight of man. It may not always be what you want to do..... CLICK ON TITLE TO READ ENTIRE ARTICLE

ENJOYING THE JOY ALLOCATED TO YOU BY GOD

God has allocated joy to every child of His. But the problem is maintaining this joy given to us by God. Psalm 16:11b states: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore (KJV). This means that we need the presence of God in order to maintain the joy He has given to us. Furthermore, this shows that the more we move far away from Gods presence, the sadder we become..... OBTAINING VICTORY BY THE BLOOD AND WORD OF OUR TESTIMONY

Before Jesus came to the earth, the blood of sheep, cows etc was being used for sacrifice and atonement. Jesus being the ultimate sacrifice used His blood to permanently atone for our sins and give us victory over sin and death. 1Cor 15:57 states “but thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ (NLT)”. This victory also extends to all areas of our lives and should be applied by faith..... CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VOICE OF GOD

As children grow up, they learn to hear and distinguish the voices of people around them. They are able to distinguish the voice of their parents, from their siblings and friends. John 10:27 states “my sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (NKJV). As children of God, we are supposed to be able to hear and distinguish God’s voice from the voice of the enemy. When the sheep hear the voice of their Master, they follow Him; signifying, obedience, trust and total reliance on the ability of their Master to keep them safe and lead them to the right path. So how do we distinguish God’s Voice from other voices around us? For us to be able to do this, we need to know the characteristics of the voice of God...... CLICK ON TITLE TO READ ENTIRE ARTICLE
